Touchless Basin Faucet
A fixed-spout automatic faucet with a reinforced Monolith body for domestic and commercial washrooms. The Kopfgescheit KG5143VDC starts the water flow when hands enter the sensor area, reducing the need to touch shared tap surfaces.
Water supply and installation
The user adjusts the hot and cold water mixture with a ceramic temperature cartridge. A built-in flow limiter restricts delivery to a maximum of 6 litres per minute. A brass solenoid valve with a 100 µm filter and flow adjustment simplifies maintenance.
Sensor control and power
The infrared sensor calibrates automatically at initial power-up. Further adjustment is available with the optional KG000 RC remote control. Continuous water flow stops after 60 seconds.
Power options include four AA batteries or a compatible USB supply. An automatic cycle replenishes the basin trap after more than a day without use.
Care and use
Use non-abrasive cleaning products suitable for the chrome finish. Built-in non-return valves are provided at the hot and cold inlets.
